Sayyid Abṭaḥī wrote this book in Persian, and it was initially published in 2012, in Qom, with the title Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ wa Āthār Shegeft (Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ and Its Remarkable Effects). He spent a lot of time collating authentic and useful stories to compile this book, and since then it was reprinted numerous times. In further editions, an extensive study on Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ was added.

Many of the stories are verified and mentioned in numerous sources, and a lot of the stories are first-hand witnessed or directly relayed to the author without any medium. In this day and age, anything related to the metaphysical and supernatural is deemed as unfounded or superstitious, but we know nothing is farfetched for Ahlul Bayt (as).
